Creative Nonfiction: You’ve read about it, you’ve heard about it, you’ve talked about it, and maybe you’ve even had a stab at writing it. Now here is your chance to see and hear it LIVE on stage when six of the city’s most intriguing and diverse writers of creative nonfiction step up to the mic in a Creative Nonfiction Cabaret at Edmonton’s hip new venue, The Carrot Community Arts Café, on Sunday May 4.

Host is Myrna Kostash, long-time writer of nonfiction of all kinds and founder and president of the Creative Nonfiction Collective.

The weather is great, we’re looking forward to being outside more often,
and holiday time is just around the corner. The Carrot is getting busy too -
last Friday morning we had 6 or 7 people in by 9:45 am. There were 2
business meetings starting, then came in the Babes in Arms group.
With all the activity at the carrot we certainly need more people to take
care of our clients. If you know of someone who would be interested
in learning to become a barista, please have them get in contact with Irene
or the carrot and someone will get back to them shortly.
If you haven’t made coffee in awhile how about giving it a try again?
To volunteer, contact Irene, our volunteer Coordinator, at 477-6590 or irene@ehenri.ca
