In the stillness of winter, the world transforms into a realm of mystery and wonder. Each owl I have created invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and embrace the magic of the natural world. Though the days maybe short and the temperature cold, these owls symbolize self-reliance and individuality. Each owl has been constructed differently, using various mediums and techniques. It is my hope that the diversity of these owls speaks to the diversity of the city landscape and the people who live here. Much like the owl we are adaptable and wise. Knowing that we require the darkness of winter to honor the balance of life and light.

In this fast-paced world, I believe it is essential to carve out moments for freedom of thought and expression. The demands of everyday life rarely allow us the ability to explore our innate gifts, but I sincerely believe this is something worth fighting for.
